Gordon Hugh Hall, age 93, of McHenry passed away in Woodstock IL May 4, 2025. He was born July 10, 1931 in East St. Louis, IL to parents Elmer Earl Hall and Naomi May, nee Miller, Hall. He was the husband and best friend of 49 wonderful years to Meredith Lee Hall. Devoted father to Brian (Avis) Hall, as well as a devoted step father to Kim (Peter) Cangelosi and Michael Alden. Beloved grandpa to five grandsons; Brandon Schulz, Sam Cangelosi, Nick Cangelosi, Joe Cangelosi, and Logan Alden. Preceded in death by parents, and his son, Martin Scott. Also survived by his two brothers, Larry (Joyce) Hall, and Keith (Joyce) Hall. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. For more information please contact the funeral home, 815-385-0063.
