Gordon Wayne Stack

Gordon Wayne "Gordie" Stack, 81, of Marquette, died Friday morning, July 5, 2024, at Aurora Bay Health Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
He was born December 3, 1942, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, a son of Orrin V. and Barbara J. (Taylor) Stack. He was raised in Marquette and was a graduate of Graeveret High School.
Gordie served in the US Navy and was employed for many years as a furniture mover.
He is survived by a son, Eric Vincent Stack; a sister, Trudy Ann (Richard) Gasser; grandchildren, Ever Stack, Emery Stack and Eric Stack II; nieces, Nichole Pfeifer, Jennifer Pritzlaff, Michelle Gruber; nephew, Jarett Zimmerman; other extended family; and special friends, Connie Jacques, neighbor, Kirt Matthews, social worker at the VA, Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly and the many others who have helped Gordie and had been so kind.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 11 am at Haglund Cemetery in Skandia. Military honors will be provided by the Little Lake American Legion and the US Navy.
