Grace Ellen Bailey (nee Miller), 98 of Palm City FL and Blue Bell PA, died peacefully Sunday July 13 in her home at the Sandhill Cove Retirement Community in Palm City FL.

A homemaker, Grace played the piano having taken lessons from an early age and enjoyed a lifetime of classical music. She was a board member of the Community Concert Association of Germantown Pike in Montgomery County which brought professional artists to local stages.

An avid gardener, Grace also served as a board member of the Old York Road Garden Club while living in PA.

Through locally available classes Grace learned to make sterling silver jewelry and stained glass ornaments which she gifted to friends and family.

Learning from and taking after her mother, a master seamstress, Grace enjoyed sewing throughout her life. While a deacon at Palm City Presbyterian Church she organized a sewing group called Grandmothers and Others which made clothing for the children of migrant workers in Indiantown FL and has expanded its mission to clothe needy people in the community.

Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband of 76 years Robert, also of Blue Bell and Palm City. She is survived by sons Robert Jr. and Wayne (wife Susan), grandchildren Robert III, Allison, and Christopher, and three great-grandchildren Mason, Haidyn, and Regan.

A private remembrance will be held later. The family requests that donations in her name be made to the donor's preferred charity.
