Grace Bohanek Obituary
Survived by her children, Bonnie (Dan) Goedert, Rob (Michelle) Bohanek, Brian Bohanek, Matt (Claudia) Bohanek, Chris (Kim) Bohanek, Ana (Mark) Burnopp; her grandchildren, Monica (fiancé, Nick Sperlazzo) Goedert, Alex (fiancée, Kiley Connington) Bohanek, Ben Bohanek, Brandon Bohanek, Maresa Valdez, Emily Bohanek, Ethan Bohanek, Isabelle Bohanek, Lily Bohanek, Cody Bohanek, Shannon Bohanek and Colin Bohanek, Mackenzie Burnopp, Grace Burnopp, Jax Burnopp; her sister, Eileen Heppeler; brother-in-law, Richard (Pat) Bohanek and her sister-in-law, Laura Bohanek. Several dear nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Bohanek, her infant grandson, Nathan Bohanek; her parents, Walter and Monica Goralski and her brother's-in-law, Don Heppeler and Ron Bohanek.
Many thanks to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital's Emergency room and inpatient unit staff and to Lightways Hospice.
A celebration of life for Grace will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until time of services at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations in Grace's name to Lightways Hospice would be appreciated.
