Ronald Robinson Obituary
Ronald H. Robinson Sr. age 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
Survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda Robinson; son, Ronald (Brenda Harris) Robinson Jr.; grandchildren, Krystal (Wes) Calderon, and Melissa (Nick) Hicks; great grandchildren, Jose, Madelyn, Emiliano Calderon, Chase Miranda, Nicholas, and Avery Hicks; step sister-in-law, Rene (Bruce) Albers. Numerous, nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his son, Raymond Robinson; parents, Harry Robinson and Helen Wise; sister, Diana Clausen.
Ron was born in Canton, IL and raised in Crest Hill. He graduated from Lockport West High School. Ron worked for the City of Joliet and retired after 34 years. He was an avid fisher man and loved to hunt. If Ron wasn't outdoors fishing or hunting, you would find him in his garage tinkering. Though Ron is no longer with us, the love he shared and the memories he created will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He may have departed from this world, but his spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Funeral services for Ron will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 11:00 am at Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until time of services. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Joliet. Per his wishes, please dress causal and no flowers. In lieu of flowers., donations made to Lightways Hospice would be appreciated. www.lightways.org/donate.
