Grace Mae Coleman, age 92, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Avoyelles Hospital In Marksville, LA.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, 10:00AM at St. James Baptist Church in in Moreauville, LA. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery.
Visitation will begin from 9:00AM to 10:00AM, Friday, May 16, 2025 at St. James Baptist Church in Moreauville, LA.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Donald Ray Coleman; daughters, Diane Marie Thornton, Joyce Mae Coleman, and Doris Ann Coleman; grandchildren, Herbert Lockwood, Devin Floyd Coleman, DeAndre Travon Coleman, Derrick Coleman, and Donte' Courtney; great-grandchild, Ayden Courtney; brother, Edward Thornton Sr.; sister, Louise Thornton Grigsby; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Floyd Coleman; grandchild, Hercules brad Rodgers; parents, Howard Thornton, Sr., and Addie Keller Thornton.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
