Grace Garcia Fierro, a beloved mother and cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, in Grapevine, Texas, at the age of 81. Born on August 31, 1943, in Marathon, Texas, Grace embodied kindness, selflessness, and a deep love for her family throughout her life.
Grace dedicated herself to caring for her family, finding joy in nurturing her loved ones while also enjoying her entrepreneurial spirit by selling Tupperware. Her warmth and generosity extended beyond her family; she had a unique ability to make those around her feel valued and loved.
She graduated high school and pursued further education at Sul Ross State University for one year, illustrating her commitment to lifelong learning. Grace's faith was a guiding force in her life, growing up with the Catholic Faith and drawing comfort from the words of Psalms 90, Psalms 91, and Psalms 92.
In addition to her devotion to family, Grace had a passion for sewing and especially enjoyed creating beautiful pieces while taking care of her puppy, Haley. Her legacy of love and care will forever be a cherished memory for all who were fortunate enough to know her.
In the tapestry of existence, she is survived by her beloved family: son Dominic Fierro and wife Pearl Fierro, daughter Farrah Fierro Agado and husband Omar Agado, Grandchildren, Raquel Finch, Alexis Fierro, Sophia Fierro, Aami Agado, Great Grandchildren Raiden Finch, Theodora Finch, and Bishop Finch.
Her legacy will forever echo in her Family’s hearts, as she was more than just a mother and Grandmother; she was their guiding star, a constant source of support and encouragement.
Grace is preceded in death by her sons Benny Fierro, Rodolfo Fierro and devoted parents, Benito Garcia, Dorlores Garza, and Brother Arturo Garcia whose spirits undoubtedly embraced her upon her arrival in eternity.
A memorial service for Grace will be held on April 12, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, Texas. In this sacred space, family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of a woman whose heart knew no bounds—a woman who loved selflessly, cared endlessly, and emanated a love that will remain indelibly in the memories of all she touched.
