Of Murrysville, formerly of Monroeville, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
Beloved wife of the late Harry E. Laughery, Jr. for 70 years.
Loving mother of Kevin (Carol) Laughery, Sharon Kmetz, Joan (Bob) Readel, Dianne VanDamme, Patrick (Monica) Laughery, Mark (Tracy) Laughery, Maureen Jacob and Melissa Mickey.
Treasured grandmother of Maura and Matthew; Alicia, Alayna and Adrianna; Jennifer, Christopher and Gregory; Nicole, Miranda, Brittney and Ryan; Brenna and Kylie; Heather, Kayla and Cierra; Olivia and Fiona; Cameron and Tyler.
Grace is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
Grace is survived by her siblings: Betty (late John) Phillips, Lois (late Art) Tacker, Dolores (late Jim) Marsh, Dennis (Gail) Carrigan, and Michael "Mickey" (Linda) Carrigan. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Nancy Carrigan, Patrick (Rose Mary) Carrigan, Janet (Flip) Filipino, Maureen (late Michael) Pekich and Jim (surviving spouse, Ruth Ann) Carrigan.
Grace was a devoted homemaker and care provider to Harry and the generations of her family. She also was an animal lover and she rescued many pets over her life time. Grace was noted for her favorite pastime of cake decorating, mostly for her family. She was also known for her generosity to charities and animal causes. Grace's fondest joy was being with Harry and any time spent with her beautiful family.
Friends are welcome on Sunday from 1-5pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Avenue at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800).
Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Colman Church in Turtle Creek, (St. Joseph the Worker Parish) on Monday at 10 a.m.
Grace will be laid to rest with Harry in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
