Grace "Marie" Preston, 92 of Birmingham, AL, passed away July 31, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents, Seton Clayburn and Gracie Lee Preston; her loving husband of 65 years, Edwin L. Preston; grandson, Trevor Reid Preston; and sisters, Virginia Pittman and Ramona Biddy.
Marie, as she was affectionately called, was a longtime member of Church at Brookhills where she was a faithful member of The Branches. She was a homemaker, caring for family. She enjoyed taking trips and loved her time spent at the beach.
Marie is survived by her daughters, Linda K. Bembry (Ham) and Lisa A. Preston; son, Marcus L. Preston (Pam); grandson, Jonathon Ross Preston; great grandson, Ryker Reid Preston; brother, Frank Bloodworth; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Southern Heritage Memorial Gardens. Pastor Rick Ousley officiating.
