Grace Rivera Obituary

Born June 29, 1925, in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Albergo) Saravo. Grace was a Licensed Practical Nurse for more than 20 years at St. Joseph s Hospital and was a graduate of St. Joseph s Hospital School of Nursing.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Robyn and Mark Hannon of Warwick, and Susan and Barry Russo of Morrisville, VT; and her grandson Justin Rivera.
She was the mother of the late George Buster Rivera, and the sister of the late Anne Blum, William Saravo, and Angela Zingale.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 27, at 10 am in St. Matthew s Church, Elmwood Ave., Cranston. Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are greatly appreciated to the RI SPCA, 186 Amaral Street, Riverside, RI 02915.
