Grace Rotundo Obituary

Rotundo, Grace
ALBANY - Grace Rotundo, 89, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Albany Medical Center. She was born in Calabria, Italy, and immigrated to the U.S. in the early '60s and settled in Newburgh, where she lived before coming to Albany.
Grace worked for the New York State Thruway Authority for 32 years. She loved cooking for her family, especially Sunday dinners, which included her delicious homemade meatballs and sauce made from her own homegrown tomatoes.
Grace was predeceased by her husband, Mario, whom she was married to for 65 years. She is survived by her children, Luigi Rotundo, Sarah Schumann, and Michael (Tracy Winnie) Rotundo; grandchildren, Jonathan Rotundo, Jennifer Schumann, Michael, Nicholas, and Cheyenne Rotundo, and Amanda Wrobel; and great-grandchildren, Thomas Bishop, Michael, Maverick, and Mason Rotundo, and Ezra Torres.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany, from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., followed by a funeral service at noon. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.danielkeenanfuneralhome.com
