With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Grace Odile (Walsh) Schlundt, who left this world on September 25, 2025 at the age of 81, surrounded by family at Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul.
Grace was born in Little Falls, Minnesota, on September 26, 1943, to Michael and Rena Walsh. She spent her life in St. Paul, where she raised her family and built her world around them. Grace's greatest joy and purpose in life was being a mother and grandmother-her children and grandchildren were her everything.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Marty (Lani) Schlundt, Jason (Audrey) Schlundt, Tommy (Becky) Schlundt, Carrie (Joe) Rombach, and Dave (Tia) Schlundt; her siblings, Tom (Sandy) Walsh and Mary (Karen) Walsh; her grandchildren, Jackie Wonais, Jessica Schlundt, Matthew Schlundt, Abi Price, Cady Schlundt, Nathan Price, Brodie Schlundt, Joey Rombach, Will Schlundt, and Rena Schlundt; and her great-grandson, C.J. Wonais.
Grace will forever be remembered for her kindness, the way she lit up a room with her contagious laugh, and her deep devotion to her family. Her legacy lives on in the traditions, memories, and love she instilled in those who knew her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation one hour prior, at St. Thomas Becket Catholic Church, 4455 S. Robert Trail, Eagan, MN 55123.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Our Lady of Peace Hospice in St. Paul, in gratitude for the compassionate care they provided: ourladyofpeacemn.org/donate

I meet Grace through Janet and Gail. She was a fun loving, sweet lady. She had a great laugh. We had fun playing games at her place. I will miss her. Sorry for your loss.
