Grace M. Light Sholly, 96, of Ebenezer PA, passed away on October 16, 2024 at SpangCrest. Grace was born in Lebanon, PA to Martin Good Light and Sallie Rebecca Zellers Light on November 25, 1927. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1946. Grace worked as an inspector at Sterling Drug in Myerstown where she retired in 1988 after more than 40 years. She was a lifetime member of the Lebanon Chapter No. 115 Order of the Eastern Star and the Order of the Amaranth. Grace was a longtime, active member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Grace is survived by her nieces Barbara Weyand of Lebanon, PA, Bonita Szewczak (Rob) of Cocoa, FL, Dolores Peterson of Hummelstown, PA, Helen Powell of Fort Myers, FL, and her nephews Bruce Light (Sue) of Lebanon, PA and Brian Light (Valery) of Palmyra, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Warren Sholly, brothers Ray Z. Light (Arlene), and Warren "Barney" Fortna (Elizabeth "Betz"). Services will be held at Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 1776 Highway 72 North Lebanon PA on Wednesday October 23, 2024 at 11:00AM with a viewing beginning at 10:00 AM. Order of the Eastern Star services will begin at 10:50AM. Pastors Bruny Martinez and Brian Albert officiating. Burial will follow at Covenant Greenwood Ebenezer Cemetery with Christman's Funeral Home handling arrangements. Grace's good nature, sense of humor, and infectious laugh will be missed by all who knew her. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N.
