Grace, 82, of Olyphant, is now living with Jesus in heaven.
She is survived by her son Jim and wife Kristie of New Hampshire; grandson James of Boston; granddaughter Cameron of New Hampshire; brother Tom and wife Diane of Avoca; sisters Ruth of Throop and Martha of Blakely; and nieces and nephews: David, Alf, Jon, David, Ken, Lisa, Kimberly, Pearl, and Carol.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband Jim in 2024, to whom she was married for 59 years; her parents, John and Matilda; brothers George and John; and her sister Betty Anne.
Her career spanned decades in the garment factories throughout the Mid Valley, though she most often worked in the dress shops located in Olyphant and Dickson City.
Grace’s true passion lay in the outdoors, where she loved foraging for nuts, berries, and mushrooms when in season. She was also an avid angler, with an affinity for ice fishing.
Later in life, her love for the outdoors consisted mostly of morning and afternoon walks around the Fernhill section of Olyphant, where she enjoyed many conversations with those she encountered.
She was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Dickson City.
Grace was loved dearly and will be remembered forever. Amen.
