Grace Elizabeth (Keegan) Stone, 94, of North Attleboro, formally of Hyde Park and E. Walpole, passed away at Milford Regional Medical Center on Saturday, December 6, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Henry Stone. Together they shared 58 years of marriage.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mabel (Keel) Keegan.
Grace cherished spending time with her family, especially at her summer home in Maine. She traveled with the love of her life, Joseph. Together they visited Italy, Spain, Portugal and Carribbean Islands. She enjoyed gardening and cooking large family dinners with Joe. In her free time she enjoyed reading. Later in life she enjoyed the company of Mr. Craig, Nigel's tuxedo cat, who cuddled up with her daily.
She was a dedicated public servant for The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Norfolk Superior Court, where she served as a clerk in the civil division. She also worked many years at Stop & Shop in Norwood and Walpole prior to working for the trial court system.
She was the devoted mother to Eric Stone and his wife, Carol, of Greenville, South Carolina, Geoffrey Stone of North Attleboro, Elaine Acosta and her husband, Edgar, of North Attleboro, and Valerie Stone of Charleston, South Carolina.
She was loving sister of the late Thomas Keegan and his wife, Althea, and the late Catherine Keegan. She was the sister in law of M. Nancy Stone of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Grace was the cherished grandmother to ten grandchildren: Andrew, Adrienne, Phillip, Tyler, Natasha, Nigel, Nathanial, Eric, Jason, and the late Paul Acosta. She was the great grandmother to thirteen great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many neices, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
