Nancy Jean Driscoll, 69, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on January 31st, 2026, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. She was the beloved daughter of Gladys (Shea) Driscoll and the late Wilfred C. Driscoll, the former Mayor of Fall River. Nancy leaves behind her siblings, Wilfred C. Driscoll Jr. (Kathleen), Arthur R. Driscoll II (Tonya), and Jean E. Howard (and her late husband Joe). She was a loving and devoted aunt to Will (Megan), Caitie (Rob), Chip (Christina), Jen (Jon), Kara, and Elizabeth, and great-aunt to Jordyn, Jake, Keegan, Jack, Patrick, Kelly, and Matty.
Nancy was born and raised in Fall River, MA and attended Holy Name Elementary School, Bishop Stang High School, and Boston College. She was employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for over 45 years before her retirement, serving as Chief of Staff for the Secretary of the Commonwealth, William F. Galvin. Nancy was a resident of Attleboro, MA for almost 25 years until she moved to The Branches of North Attleboro in 2023, where she was graciously cared for by the nurses, aides, and entire staff who quickly became Nancy’s friends. The family is most grateful to everyone at The Branches, as well as Nancy’s entire team of healthcare professionals who helped her navigate this journey with grace.
In lieu of flowers, Nancy would want to spread kindness and joy to all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation (10:15am-10:45am) and Mass of Christian Burial (11:00am) on Friday, February 6th, 2026, at Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, St. Mark Church, located at 105 Stanley St., Attleboro Falls, MA. The Reverend David A. Costa will preside. Burial will be private.
