Grace Warpula Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Richardson Funeral Home - Leominster on Mar. 9, 2026.
Grace (Willey) Warpula, a beacon of faith and love, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, at the age of 81 in Leominster, Massachusetts. Born on December 18, 1944, in Worcester, MA, Grace was a woman whose life was characterized by her unwavering faith, creative spirit, and selfless dedication to her family and community.

Grace's early years were spent in the city of her birth, where she graduated from South High School in 1962. It was there that she formed the foundations of a life marked by achievement, service, and family. Grace built a fulfilling career, initially touching lives as an Executive Assistant at the United Way of Central Massachusetts, where she managed fundraising campaigns with a blend of efficiency and compassion. A favorite memory of her professional experience was the opportunity to meet Queen Elizabeth II of England.

Grace was also a talented Wedding Cake Baker and Decorator, bringing joy and sweetness to countless celebrations. Her creativity knew no bounds, and she poured her heart into every design, ensuring that each cake was as unique as the couple it was made for.

A devout Christian, Grace lived her faith through her actions and words. She was an active member of her church community, where she found great joy in fellowship and service. Her greatest passion was sharing her faith with those around her, a testament to her deep commitment and love for Christ.

Grace's interests were as varied as they were rich. She was an avid sewer, often creating beautiful garments and home decorations. Her garden was a testament to her patience and nurturing spirit, while her baked goods were a source of comfort and delight to her loved ones. Grace also had a keen eye for interior decorating, making her home a warm and welcoming sanctuary for all who entered.

Family was the cornerstone of Grace's life. She is survived by her devoted husband, Bob Warpula. Additionally, her loving daughter, Michelle (Julian) Weston and her cherished children through marriage: Andrea Warpula, Jim Warpula, and Rachel Warpula. She adored her ten grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. Grace was a beloved sister to Bobby Willey, Burnie Willey, and the late Everett Willey, as well as her sisters, Lilla (Willey) Nickerson and Martha (Willey) Bane. Together, they shared a bond of love, laughter, and competition that remained unbroken through the years.

Grace's legacy is one of kindness and generosity. She will be profoundly missed by all and her light will never fade from the hearts of those she touched.

Calling hours will be held in Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St., on Thursday, March 12 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13 at 11:00 AM in Richardson Funeral Home with a burial to follow in Evergreen cemetery.
