Born in Brooklyn, the daughter of Melvin and Grace (Parker) Smith, Grace was raised in Newark where she graduated from Barringer High School. She had resided in Westfield since the late 1950's. Grace earned her bachelor's degree in English from Rutgers, Douglas College where she was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa. In her early years, Grace worked at Prudential in Newark and after raising her family, opened the Crystal Pony Shop in Chatham. She was a past parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary in Scotch Plains and enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.
Grace was the beloved wife of the late Victor Ziobro. She was the loving mother of Michael Ziobro (Eileen), Victor Ziobro (Kristina), and Christopher Ziobro. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Alyssa, Zachary, and Victoria, her great grandson Wyatt, and her sister Arlene Fieldman. She was predeceased by her grandson, Michael, and her sister, Alberta LeRich.
