GRACIE GARCIA Obituary
July 30, 1947 - December 31, 2025
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Gracie Gail Garcia on December 31, 2025, in Las Vegas, NV. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Gracie lived a vibrant 78 years, having been born on July 30, 1947, in Hanford, CA. Her passionate spirit and contagious energy touched everyone who knew her.
Gracie's journey began in Hanford, where she shared her laughter and kindness with everyone. A proud product of Hanford's schools, she furthered her education at community colleges. After moving to San Jose, CA, she spent over a decade in social work for Santa Clara County and later retired as a Corporate Officer from Bank of America. Following her retirement, she worked with LifeTouch until moving to Las Vegas, NV, to be closer to her grandchildren.
Above all her accomplishments, it was Gracie's devotion to her family that defined her life. She cherished her husband, Frederick Garcia, a shared bond built on love, respect, and unwavering support. Her legacy continues through her children: Fred Jr. and wife Pamela Garcia, and Rose Garcia; and grandchildren: Monalisa Marquez; Christopher Garcia; Gabriel Garcia; Dominic and wife Jessica Garcia; and Gracie Carpenter, each of whom she adored fiercely. She delighted in being a great-grandmother to Ava Garcia.
Those who knew her remember her kindness, loyalty, and vivacious personality, marked by her infectious laugh. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and lasting connections that will forever impact the lives she touched.
Gracie's resilient spirit and desire to keep moving forward found expression in sports, coaching, and cheering on her family. She embraced gatherings, valuing connection and community.
Join us to honor Gracie's extraordinary life. A Rosary will be held at 10:00 am and services begin at 10:30 am on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at St. Brigid Catholic Church, 1001 N. Douty St, Hanford, CA 93230. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Hanford. Arrangements by People's Funeral Chapel.
In honor of Gracie's remarkable life, the family invites friends and loved ones to share stories and memories that celebrate her enduring spirit. May her soul rest in eternal peace, knowing she is deeply loved and missed by all.

I have so many high school memories of Gracie when we attended Hanford High in the 1960`s. She was a loving part of our inner circle at school. It was a pleasure to know her. God bless you, Gracie.
