Grady Howard Obituary
Grady Lee Howard, age 75, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025 at his home.
He was born in Laurens, SC and was a son of the late Francis Norwood Howard and Lillie Mae Alverson Howard. He loved fishing, going to auctions and sales, and cutting grass. He was a member of the Moonville Bass Club.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kathy Howard; his daughters, Leslie Pitts and Amanda Brewington; his grandchildren, Katelin Pitts (Austin) and Jordan Pitts; his great-grandson, Brantley Pitts; his step-son, Todd Owens (Sharon); his step-grandchildren, Brandon Owens (Cassie), Tyler Owens (Kristen), Tara Parker; his brother, Ronnie Howard (Joyce); and his sister, Mary Williams.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two step-sons, John Brewington and Scott Owens.
A Memorial Service will be held, Monday, April 21, 2025 at 1 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens with Pastor Greg Loner officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12 PM – 1 PM at the funeral home.
