Visit the Indiana Funeral Care - Indianapolis website to view the full obituary.
Graham Alexander Fox, 30, of Carmel Indiana, died Thursday April 28, 2022, in a single car accident in Fishers, Indiana.
At age 15, Graham was introduced to drugs which led to a long battle with substance abuse and addiction. At 23, he entered long term addiction recovery, and his time there brought him into a years-long period of sobriety where he came into his own.
In this season, he discovered a passion for the outdoors and adventure. While living and working at Windward Way Recovery, he pioneered the creation of an Adventure Program. Through this initiative, he was responsible for planning and leading climbing expeditions in Joshua Tree National Forest, hiking and camping trips in Sequoia and Tahoe, and ski trips at Big Bear. As the guide for young men in recovery, he helped them connect deeply with one another, challenge themselves, learn new skills and gain vision for their life following treatment.
Graham loved music, technology, fly fishing, rock climbing, firearms, weightlifting, and his various pets. In recent years, Graham taught himself woodworking, welding, powder coating, aerial photography, and software coding. He had an incredible curiosity that enabled him to learn deeply about subjects too varied to list.
We will forever remember his wonderful grin, the mischievous twinkle in his eyes, the way he made us belly laugh, his straight talk, his brilliant mind, and tender heart. He brought life into every room he entered. He was dearly and deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents, Phil and Kathie Fox, his brother, Gavin Fox (Lauren), his sister, Natalie Palmer (Chris), nieces Isla Palmer, Claire Fox, Serena Palmer and Blaine Fox, girlfriend Brenda Lopez and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
We welcome you to come to the viewing from 4 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 5 at Antioch Community Church, 5981 E 86th St, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
Graham's Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday May 6, also at Antioch.
Attire for both events is casual. You are welcome to wear Patagonia, Columbia, or other outdoor casualwear, in honor of his life and love for the outdoors and adventure. Please wear what's comfortable.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to NewDay Recovery, PO Box 407 Zionsville, IN 46077.

Graham had such a beautiful curiosity and immense passion for life. He had the biggest heart, always went out of his way to understand others and make them feel welcome. He had a brilliant mind, and when it wasn't getting him in trouble it allowed him to learn and absorb new ideas and abilities at an astonishing pace. He was so much fun to be around. Grahams enthusiasm was infectious, and he strived everyday to grow as a person. I miss Graham so much
