GRANT KITTELSON 07/16/1956 - 02/16/2025 Grant Kittelson, 68, of Lakeville passed away in his sleep on February 16, 2025. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 24 at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo, from 2 - 4 p.m. with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Grant Ernest Kittelson was born July 16, 1956, in Montevideo to Lamore and Pauline (Bourne) Kittelson. He was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. After graduating from Montevideo Senior High School in 1974, Grant attended Mankato Area Vocational Technical Institute and earned an Associate's degree in Sales & Marketing. He went on to continue his education at Moorhead State University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications. While living in Moorhead, Grant made many friends. His time spent with our brother, Juel and these friends were a frequent topic of conversation. He enjoyed telling stories about those days. He also never forgot his high school friends and was especially glad he was able to attend his class reunion last year to reconnect with them. Throughout his life, Grant enjoyed any sporting event he could find on tv and he never missed doing the daily crossword puzzle in the newspapers. Even though he didn't get to his niece's and nephew's sporting events, he loved hearing about everything they were involved in. In going through his keepsakes, he still had all the photos and newspaper clippings that were sent to him over the years. He is survived by his siblings - Lance (Sandra) Kittelson of Shickshinny, Pa.; Reid (Deb) Kittelson of Lincoln, Neb.; Paula (Kelly) Ewald of Farmington; six nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces/nephews. Grant was preceded in death by his parents, Lamore and Pauline Kittelson; brother Juel; infant sister, Lynn; maternal grandparents Halvor and Amanda Bourne; and paternal grandparents Ernie and Elenora Kittelson; and the love of his life, Jackie Neuschwander.
