Of: Charlotte, Tennessee Passed Away: Thursday, November 20, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. Todd was diagnosed with Stage 4 Small Cell Aggressive lung cancer on November 21, 2024. Recently, he was informed that the cancer had spread to his liver and his brain. Todd was courageous in his fight against cancer, but he now rests in the arms of Jesus.
Todd married his high school sweetheart, Gay Starr Baggett, on March 19, 1983; they both graduated from high school in May of 1983. By the fall of 1984, the Osborns had moved to Alaska—living in Anchorage, Kenai, and Soldotna before returning to middle Tennessee in the summer of 1988. Todd was a journeyman pressman from 1984-1996. For twenty-five years until 2023, Todd worked as a banker when he became disabled. He taught Sunday School and enjoyed studying the Bible and sharing his faith with others.
Todd was a lover of mountains, wildlife, traveling, and reading. He spent many hours going to chess tournaments and baseball games with his children. Todd had over 7,000 books in his library. His grandchildren were his biggest treasures; he enjoyed taking them to new places to eat. His most recent adventure was in December of 2024 when he got to see the coastal red woods in California.
Todd’s strength, kindness, humor, and love for the Lord will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: will be 3:00 – 5:00 pm Sunday, November 30, 2025 and 12:00 - 1:00 pm Monday, December 1.
Memorial Service: for Grant Todd Osborn will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, December 1, 2025, in the Spann Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Bess officiating.
