W. Gray Roberts Jr.

Mr. Gray Roberts, age 71 of the Rome Community, died Wednesday morning, March 25 at Highpoint Sumner. He is survived by:wife, Deborah Roberts; 3 children, Richard Gray Roberts and wife Jolanda of Rome, Rachael Lynn Roberts of Rome, Rebecca Suzanne Candela and husband Stephen of Chalybeate, KY; 3 sisters, Deborah Weidner and husband Scott of Rome, Diane Beardsley and husband Larry of Lebanon, Tamarah Pryor and husband Charles of Defeated Creek; 10 grandchildren, Allison Moore and Isaac of Lafayette, Aubree Heady, Lucas Roberts, Kailyn Roberts, Adam Heady, Ryder Roberts, Olivia Candela, Katherine Candela, Oaklynn Gray Candela and Baby Candela.

Mr. Roberts is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Sunday afternoon, March 29 at 3:00 PM. Donnie Rhoten and Charles Poston will officiate. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are: Richard Gray Roberts, Lucas Roberts, Ryder Roberts, Adam Heady, Isaac Moore, Nick Anderson, Steve Candela.

Visitation on Saturday from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM and on Sunday from 12:00 noon until service time at 3:00 PM.

The family has requested memorials to Bethlehem Church of Christ. Building Fund.
