Gregory (Greg) Allen Hall was born on August 21, 1963 in Fresno, CA to Albert Hubert Hall and Deanna Jean (Prater) Hall. He passed from this life on Thursday August 28th, 2025 in Vinita, OK at the age of 62 years and 1 week.
Greg was only 8 years old when his family returned to Oklahoma. They first lived in Bokchito for a short time before settling in Boswell, where Greg would spend much of his life. From an early age, Greg developed a deep love for the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing, passions that remained with him throughout his life. As a teenager, he began working alongside his father in the family sawmill, located at the Bryan/Choctaw County line. This experience not only taught him the value of hard work but also gave him a strong sense of responsibility and pride in family tradition.
In the early 1980s, Greg took a break from the sawmill and went to work in the oil fields in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Even while working away, his heart remained in Boswell, and he eventually returned home to continue helping his father at the sawmill. Greg was a man who never shied away from hard work, and his willingness to step in wherever he was needed reflected his dependable and selfless nature. Friends and family often describe him as a man who could be counted on, whether for a helping hand, good company, or telling a story.
In 2000, Greg began a new chapter in his career when he entered the field of horizontal directional drilling. His work took him all across the United States, where he quickly earned respect for his strong work ethic, determination, and ability to learn and adapt. Though his travels took him far, Greg always carried with him a love for home, family, and the simple joys of life in Oklahoma.
Greg was proceeded in death by his parents Hubert Hall and Deanna (Prater) Hall.
