Greg Jenkins, beloved husband to Sandy, father to Kyle and Amanda, father-in-law to Taylor, and cherished papa to Jameson and Zoey, passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 67. Brother to Scot (Carolyn) Jenkins, Luanne (Mike) Powell, and Linda (Aaron) Kite, and son of Ralph, Shirley, and Norma Jenkins.
A graduate of Indian Lake High School and THE Ohio State University, he taught industrial arts and coached football and basketball at Riverside High School, leaving a lasting impact on his students. He was a skilled builder and had a sharp sense of humor, always ready with a joke and a poem. Greg found happiness in simple pleasures, often enjoying live music with a cold beer alongside his wife.
In his later years, he split his time between Florida and Batavia, Ohio, relishing family gatherings and creating cherished memories. Greg will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes Street in DeGraff and from 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 6th at Lewistown-Trinity United Methodist Church, 8088 County Road 54 in Lewistown, where Pastor Bill Halter will officiate a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of life will follow at Fion Wine Room, 7486 State Route 117 in Huntsville.
