Greg A. Nichols

Hilton - Greg A. Nichols passed away with his loving family by his side on April 16, 2024 at the age of 62. He was predeceased by his parents, Robin and Nancy Nichols and by his father-in-law, Malcom Perry. He is survived by his loving wife, Kelly Perry Nichols; his sons, Andrew and Ryan Nichols; his brother, Paul (Terri) Nichols; his sister, Laurie (Walter) Miedema; his nephew, Zachary Shuster; his nieces, Sarah (Brandon) Guthrie, Heather Fisher, Eleanor and Jenna Nichols; his sisters-in-law, Barb and Teresa Perry; his aunts, Genevieve Gates and Mary (Phil) Hauer; many cousins; and his beloved dog, Penny.
Greg was Operations Captain and Scheduler for AMR of Rochester. He was a Life Member and Past President of the Hilton Fire Department, a former firefighter, EMT, and an officer, reaching the rank of Captain. He also worked as a part time dispatcher in Hilton. He was a kind and generous man who dedicated much of himself to the Hilton community. In his leisure he enjoyed bowling and playing softball in the fire department leagues, car racing and watching football. He made many friends and will be deeply missed by his family and all of his friends in the fire and ambulance services.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, April 22nd from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and on Tuesday, April 23rd from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton. Greg's Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 24th at 10:00 am at the Hilton United Methodist Church, 21 West Ave, Hilton, NY 14468, followed by Interment in Parma Union Cemetery.
