Gregory (Greg) Lee Pederson passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 18th in Brookings SD. At this time a funeral service will be held at a later date.

Greg was born on July 19th, 1973, to Gary and Glenda (Christopherson) Pederson. He was baptized and confirmed at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Greg was raised in Brookings and attended K-12 grade in Brookings graduating from Brookings High school in 1993.

After High school, Greg was a self-employed construction worker. He did this for 35 plus years. In the year 2003 Greg welcomed his first daughter, Katlyn Pederson, and then in 2006 he welcomed his second daughter, Brianna Pederson. Greg had a great passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles. Every year he would try to make it out to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. During the summertime you could always see him out riding his motorcycles or being outside with his labrador dogs. Greg will always be remembered as someone for his carpentry skills and as someone who loved to hunt and fish.

Greg had many health complications that impacted his life including diabetes, cancer twice, and a kidney transplant, but that didn't stop him from living life to the fullest.

Greg is survived by his parents Gary and Glenda Pederson. His daughters Katlyn Pederson and Brianna (Kyler) Pederson. His Siblings Scott (Amy) Pederson and Nikki (Paul) Pederson. Two nieces, Hallie (Dylan) Pederson and Sydnie McGruder, and one nephew Tate Pederson, Grandma Minerva Christopherson, uncles, Jim Christopherson and Gary (Deb) Christopherson and many other extended family members.
