Greg Pryor Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Fassbender Swanson Hansen Funeral & Cremation Services on Dec. 30, 2025.
Greg Pryor, 73, of Marquette, passed away on December 13, 2025 at U.P. Health System–Marquette.
Greg was born in Frankfort, Michigan, to Henry and Florence (Fourson) Pryor. He grew up in Frankfort and West Bloomfield, Michigan, and attended North Farmington High School before continuing his education at Northern Michigan University.
After college, Greg's love for Marquette brought him back to the area, where he and Claudette (Dagenais) were married. Greg spent many years working in building material sales in Wisconsin and later worked at golf courses in both Wisconsin and Michigan.
Greg was a devoted husband and father. He was an avid golfer and a loyal Green Bay Packers fan, passions he proudly passed on to his children. He cherished teaching his children and his grandson, Austin, the game of golf, spending countless treasured hours on the course together. He eagerly looked forward to putting clubs in the hands of little Noah. Before every Packers game, Greg never missed making his famous "Go Pack Go" phone call to Austin and Lindsey.
Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents and his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Claudette; his children, Lindsey (Martin) Magdaleno and Matt Pryor; his grandsons, Austin and Noah; his brothers, Richard and Kevin Pryor; his brothers-in-law, David Dagenais (Jim Schley) and Joe Dagenais; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and his good "buddy," Tom Dagenais.
In accordance with Greg's wishes, there will be no service.
Memorial contributions may be made to UPAWS, 815 M553, Gwinn, MI 49841.
