Gregory Root Obituary
Gregory Brian Root, 53, of Oak Park, Illinois, peacefully passed away March 12, 2023.
Greg had a remarkable career as the co-founder, chief operating officer and general council of CodeMap, a medical billing service based in Chicago. He loved cars, enjoyed fishing, and cherished a proper martini. Greg was a devoted family man and treasured spending time with his wife and children. He will be deeply missed.
Greg is survived by his beloved wife Julie, his loving son Scott and daughter Sarah. A small and intimate celebration of Greg's life will be determined at a later date.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Greg's passing. I remember vividly being at on Outdoor Education trip with our then fifth-grade kids (his son Scott and my daughter Morgan). Greg was so engaged in the activities, and he was generous with his time, attention, and humor. He was a very kind person and I am sending thoughts and prayers to his family.
