Valatie-Gregg A. Bertram, 66, of Valatie, New York, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Albany Medical Center surrounded by family. Born October 28, 1958 to parents Stanley F. Bertram and Lois A. (Fischer) Bertram in Albany, New York, Gregg was a high school graduate who worked several jobs over the years.
Gregg was an avid outdoorsman, with a particular fondness for hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his mother Lois; his partner Dotti Wemitt; his children Jesse Bertram and Leah Bertram; one grandchild, Zoë L. Bertram; five siblings: Scott (Syndi) Bertram, Wendy (Ray) Ponkos, Cindy (Rudy) Arkenbout, Joy (Geoffrey) Bertram, and Marybeth (Steve) Bertram; and many nieces and nephews. Gregg was predeceased by his father, Stanley, and his niece Marleigh Rain Bertram.
Funeral services will be held private for the family.
