It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gregg Lee Dunbar, who departed this life on August 8, 2025, at the age of 52 in Warner Robins, Georgia. Born on March 8, 1973, in Stoughton, Massachusetts, Gregg was a cherished son, sibling, and uncle, leaving behind a legacy of kindness that touched the lives of all who knew him. All services will be private.

Gregg's early years were spent in Massachusetts, where he graduated from Plymouth North High School in 1992. Shortly after, he enlisted in the United States Navy, a decision that reflected his commitment to service and adventure. During his time in the Navy, he proudly served aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt, where one of his fondest achievements was creating the beloved Musician Meatloaf a delicious dessert, a testament to his culinary skills developed in culinary school. Following his military service, Gregg transitioned into a fulfilling career as a manager at Aldi, where his dedication and work ethic shone brightly. His career path was guided by a profound love for his family, especially his niece Shyanne, who was a central figure in his life.

Gregg had a passion for travel and adventure, particularly his fond memories of Greece, a place he always dreamed of returning to. He was a devout fan of New England sports and held a special place in his heart for family, which was always his priority. His interests also included firearms, reflecting a diverse pursuit of hobbies that enriched his life.

Gregg is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Crystal Marshall Dunbar. He is survived by his father, Wayne Dunbar; his twin brother, Wayne Anthony Dunbar (Rebecca); and brother, Shawn Dunbar (Rachael). He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews, Shyanne, Andrew, Kendall, and Jazmyne. In addition, Greggs memory will forever be cherished by a host of extended family and friends, including: Shawn Simmons, Jennifer Basham and Stephanie and her husband, Johnny.

As we remember Gregg, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. His gentle spirit and unwavering dedication to family will remain in our hearts forever. In this time of grief, we invite friends and family to celebrate his life and the impact he made on each of us. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
