I got to stay at the Rudloff house for the summer of 1972. He had tons of patience and a great stash of comic books that he shared with the pest cousin. Gone way too soon.

I knew Gregg in high school and kept in touch with him and his wife Sue from time to time. I am so saddened to hear of Gregg's passing. My husband, children, and I would look for him every year in films that he worked on as well as being on the Oscars. We are all devastated. Gregg was a great friend and all around super guy. Sending love and prayers to Sue and his family members.

So very sorry to hear of Gregg's passing. His picture looks so much like Tex. I will forever remember working at Lion's Gate. May Gregg rest in peace and may his family be embraced by God through this difficult time.

I was honored to have known Gregg when we were Cub Scouts and his Dad, Tex (Mr. Rudloff to me) , was our Pack 291 Cubmaster. Both Gregg and Tex were great guys and very hard workers. I remember swimming several times with Gregg in the Rudloff's backyard pool when my family would come to visit. Gregg ran track at Grant High School and in 1972 I saw him win a very close 1 mile race over the top runner from arch rival North Hollywood High (my school and my track team). I recall Gregg ran the 1/2 mile (880 yards) in less than two minutes, which is an outstanding time, and Gregg was one of the fastest high school 1/2 milers and milers in all of Los Angeles. When I grew up, and I realized that my friends Gregg and Tex were outstanding at their trade, I made sure that I, my wife, and two children, stayed through the entire credits of every movie and T.V. show we have watched over the decades to see if we saw one of their names. "Glory" is one of my favorite movies and I was delighted when Gregg's work on "Glory" earned him the first of his three Academy Awards. The entire Davis family extends our prayers and condolences to all of Gregg's family and friends.

I just learned of Gregg's passing. I had the privilege to work with Gregg's father for some years and Gregg a few times. Tex was a most humble and easy-going person to work with and his son inherited his father's work ethic, skills and his life was cut way short. He will be truly missed.

Gregg followed his beloved father Tex in a career of rerecording sound for the movie industry for over 35 plus years. I had the pleasure of having a friendship and working with both him and his father in that time span. Two people who were the most kind and considerate individuals on the face of this earth. My thoughts and prayers go out to Greggs wife Sue and family at this time. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Gregg was so special, and his life was so short, he was gifted in so many ways, his Dad, TeX, traveled at such a young age during a challenging era of America from Texas to California and ended having a full life, family, two beautiful children a great career in creating movies and, Gregg followed his Dad and achieved successfully. We will greatly miss his professionalism and his creativity. Our prayers are with Sue, his wife, and Carla, his sister and Steve, Gregg's brother-in-law, and all friends and family.
