Gregg Allen Slubowski

Gregg Allen Slubowski of Saginaw, formerly of Armada, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at the age of 56.
Gregg was born on September 25, 1967 in Mount Clemens, Michigan. He was a son of Gregory A. and Mary L. (Winn) Slubowski. Gregg was a graduate of Armada High School and went on to achieve a Masters Degree from Oakland University. He proudly served in the United States Army, serving from 1987 to 1991 and during the first Desert Storm War. Gregg worked in construction for years, specializing in carpentry. After retiring, he put his whole heart into volunteering for the Midland County Humane Society and was working with them to start a program that would help disabled veterans. Dogs, Veterans and giving back were his passions. He enjoyed golfing with his brother, Brian and nephew, Brandon; watching Michigan Football on Saturday and Lions Football on Sunday; and never missed a NASCAR race with the #9 car as his favorite to cheer on. Gregg loved his family tremendously and never missed an opportunity to spend time with them. He will be forever missed by those who loved him the most.
Gregg is survived by his parents, Mary and Gregory; brothers, Brian (Tiffany) Slubowski and Robert Slubowski; nephews and niece, Robert Slubowski Jr., Cody (Jessica) Slubowski, Brandon Slubowski and Reta Slubowski; great-nephew, T.J. Slubowski; dogs, Shonny, Titus and Walter and many extended family and friends.
Visitation for Gregg will take place on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a Sharing Time followed by Military Honors starting at 4:00 p.m. at Tiffany-Young & Hauss Funeral Home, Armada. Cremation will take place and Gregg will be laid to rest in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Midland County Humane Society.
