Gregory Anthoney Allen was born on December 5, 1972, in Morant Bay, St. Thomas, Jamaica and passed away on January 31, 2026, at Peter Lougheed Hospital.
Greg embraced life with a spirit that drew people to him, embodying kindness in every interaction. His passion for soccer found a joyful outlet as he played recreationally for Brothers United, where he not only showcased his skill but also his dedication to teamwork and sportsmanship.
He is survived by his cherished daughters, Keyva (Morgan) Jacobsen and Latoya Hutchinson. Greg's nurturing nature will always be a guiding light in their lives. He was a devoted son to his mother, Marva Grossett, whose support and love shaped the man he became.
Gregory also shared a special bond with his brothers, Donovan, Lincoln, and Oniel, alongside his aunt, Dolores Edwards, and uncle, Barry Barrington. Together, they will remember the laughter and memories shared with Gregory, who will remain forever in their hearts.
Adding to the profound sense of loss is the passing of his sister, Charlene, who left this world prior to him. The bond between siblings is irreplaceable, and Charlene’s memory will be cherished alongside Gregory’s.
