Gregory Anderson Obituary
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Watertown with Rev. Karl Walther officiating. Relatives and friends may gather at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A private innichement will take place at the Lutheran Cemetery in Watertown at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the family. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Watertown is serving the family. Online condolences may be left at www.HafemeisterFH.com.
Gregory Robert Anderson was born on October 31, 1968 in Watertown to Graham and Gloria (Karberg) Anderson. He attended school at St. Mark's Lutheran School in Watertown and was confirmed in 1984. He continued and graduated from Lakeside Lutheran in 1988. On May 10, 2003 he married Dawn Lewis at St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
CADDY worked as an overhead door technician beginning with Fischer Overhead Doors in Watertown and later with Consolidated Doors for many years.
Greg enjoyed playing softball, volleyball, bowling, golf, and horseshoes. He was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed going on group trips and vacations.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn Anderson of Watertown; mother, Gloria Anderson of Watertown; two brothers: Gary (Myrna) Anderson of Glendale Heights, IL; Geoff (Jill Kukla) Anderson of Watertown; nephew, Jason Ponce; as well as other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Graham Anderson, and grandparents, Mildred and Bob Karberg and Albert and Viola Storbeck.
