Gregory “Greg” Batcheller, 54, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and a community of colleagues and friends. Greg spent his career in the IT field within the banking industry, where he was known for his sharp problem solving skills and a willingness to help others.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, Edward. He is survived by his mother, Madeline, who carries forward the strength and compassion she instilled in him from an early age.
Greg’s greatest pride in life was his two sons, Jacob (27) and Nathan (25). Jacob is engaged to be married to Casey Pentecost, and Greg was excited for their future together. Greg loved his boys fiercely and supported them through every milestone, always encouraging them to work hard, stay curious, and take care of one another.
He is also survived by his two brothers, Ed and David. Ed and his wife Beth, along with their children Miranda and Thomas, shared many years of family gatherings. David and his wife Danielle, and their daughter Deanna, held a special place in Greg’s heart as well. Family meant everything to him, and he cherished the moments spent surrounded by those he loved.
Greg will be remembered for his quick wit and his loyalty. His unexpected departure leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memory—along with the lessons, love, and laughter he shared—will remain with all who knew him.
