Gregory Bell Obituary

Gregory "Greg" Edward Bell, passed away on May 23, 2025. He was born on February 8, 1962 in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

As a Senior Paint Technician at Precision Metals, Greg dedicated his skills and work ethic to his craft, leaving a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike. Greg's personality was as vibrant as his career. He was known for greeting family and friends with an enthusiastic "Rocker!" that could instantly uplift spirits. His love for fishing allowed him to enjoy the tranquility of nature, while his devotion to Indiana sports fueled his competitive passion. Greg was also a gifted guitar player, drawn to the melodies that resonated with his soul.

A proud veteran, Greg served in the United States Navy, where he achieved the rank of Boatswain's Mate Second Class. This experience instilled in him values of discipline and camaraderie, which remained with him throughout his life.

Greg is survived by his beloved daughter, Erin Bell, and his former wife and friend, Jodie Kim. He also leaves behind his mother, Beverly Bell, and sisters LuAnne (Phil) Lintner, Heather Bell, and Beth Dean. Greg was also a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He joins his late father, Glennard Bell, and brother, Glen Earl Bell, in eternal rest. Greg's legacy of love, music, and laughter will continue to resonate with all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, at the funeral home with military honors to follow. Cremation was chosen following Greg's wishes.
