Gregory Allan Biehle

Gregory Allan Biehle, born August 4, 1960 to Delbert and Dorothy Lundgren Biehle, passed away October 26, 2024. 

Greg is survived by his dad, Delbert, his son Tayten, his brother Kevin, his wife, Elisabeth and their five children Hannah, Sophia, Isaiah, Victoria, and Lydia.

Greg's employment over the years included Laclede Chain Mfg, Glass Depot and Maryville Housing Authority. Greg was always mindful to take special care of the older residents. Many of them would express their gratitude and appreciation for Greg in comments made to his parents in church on Sunday. 

Greg came to the area as an infant when his parents moved to Sheridan, MO in March of 1961, having accepted the ministry at the Christian Church. 

Greg attended school in Sheridan and graduated from Worth County High school. After graduation, Greg attended Nebraska Christian College and later Northwest Missouri State University. 

He was active in sports during his high school days, participating in softball, basketball, football, and track.

During a grade school science project Greg raced a horse in the 40 yard dash and won. His love of sports led him to be a fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, LA Lakers and NY Yankees.

During his childhood years, Greg spent countless hours fishing, hunting and riding his bike with his friends and little brother.

The Biehle family moved to Maryville MO after a 17 year ministry at the Christian Church in Sheridan, MO to minister at the Countryside Christian Church in Maryville, MO. While attending Countryside Christian Church, Greg sang in a men's quartet for five years. They performed at the church, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, funerals, and school reunions. 

After his dad retired from Countryside Christian Church, Greg attended The Bridge, in Maryville. Greg's spiritual journey and church membership was important to him. As a youngster, he attended summer church camp at Flaming Spirit Christian Church Camp. The highlight of his camp experience was his decision to accept Christ as his lord and savior. Greg was baptized in a stream that flowed by the camp after calling home to inform his parents of his decision. Everyone agreed that was the best decision that could be made.

Greg's dad accepted a ministry, after retirement, at a country church in Isadora. This congregational family was very supportive through acts of kindness and constant prayer for Greg as he navigated his final 5 years of life battling cancer. Greg will be remembered for his kind, gentle nature and his faith in God. 

There will be a visitation Tuesday from 6-8 pm on November 5th at the Bram Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 6th at the funeral home.
