Gregory Blanton Obituary
Gregory Paul Blanton, 63, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Gaston County, North Carolina, on February 2, 1962 to Carroll Mize Blanton and the late Paul Blanton.
Greg was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a true mamas boy and was always her main helper. Most of all, he loved his family, especially his daughters and grandbabies. He always made time to spend with them and leaves many happy and fond memories to be shared by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Ramsey (David) and Beth Dellinger; sister, Jennifer Blanton; grandchildren, Harper McKenzie Dellinger, Jameson, Jessi, and Dalton Ramsey.
Family and friends will gather for visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 10, 2025 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Roger Overton officiating. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park in the Garden of Gethsemane.
