Gregory Wendell Blauser

Gregory Wendell Blauser, 65, of Strongsville, passed away on January 29, 2026, following a hard-fought battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was born on October 21, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Wendell and Faye Blauser.

Greg is survived by his daughters Dustine (Fred) Hafner, Heather Ryel, Kristina Blauser-Smith, Tina (Rob) Kowalski, and Brandy Gilliam. He was a proud grandfather to Mason and Colten Hafner, Aaron and Joshua Ryel, Dylan Kowalski, Tyler Gilliam, and Austin McGuire. He is also survived by his father, Wendell Blauser.

Greg is further survived by his sisters Yvonne Blauser (Melinda Buss), Rachele Blauser, and Kristina (Kurt) Henry, along with his nephews Luke, Micah, and Jace Henry. He is also remembered fondly by many extended family members and friends whose lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his wives, June Blauser and Rhonda Blauser; his mother, Faye Blauser; his son, William Blauser; and son-in-law Jesse Smith.

Greg was a skilled mason who dedicated his career to creating beauty from stone, brick, and concrete. He took pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic, his ability to fix just about anything and help others without hesitation. Greg loved adventure, children, animals and hunting. He will be remembered for his great strength, deep loyalty, and unmistakable sense of humor.

A visitation will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Road, Brunswick, Ohio 44212. A memorial service will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m., with Reverend Kurt Henry officiating.
