Gregory Bozek Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Davis-Watkins Funeral Homes & Crematory - Crestview Memorial on Dec. 9, 2025.
Gregory "Greg" Bozek was born on March 27, 1952 to Stanley and Violet Bozek in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. The son of a coal miner, he worked in the steel mills while attending Uniontown High School.

Following his graduation in 1970, Greg enlisted in the United States Air Force, and upon graduation from tech school he was stationed in Greece, where he fully embraced the Greek culture, learning the language, dancing, and traditions. Following his enlistment, he was hired by Rockwell, International, where he would work as an electrical engineer for many years. He traveled with his family all over the world, sharing his love of good food and the European way of life.

Greg worked diligently to provide for his family, supporting all of his children's school and extracurricular activities, always encouraging them to strive to meet their full potential. In recent years, he extended this support to his grandsons, Derek, Donovan, and Douglas, and was even more proud of their achievements.

Greg enjoyed spending time with family, attending church, participating in Men's Prayer Group and was an active student in Faith Bible Institute.

Greg is survived by his children, Lance Bozek of Fillmore, UT, Angela Buchanan and husband, Jeremy of Crestview, FL, and Laura Lambert and husband, Douglas, Sr. of Fort Walton Beach, FL; grandsons, Derek Lambert, Donovan Buchanan, and Douglas Lambert, Jr; sister, Valeria Kayatin and husband, Ken of Farmville, Virginia; and his twin brother, Stanley Bozek of Smock,
Pennsylvania.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Violet Bozek.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Crestview Mennonite Church on December 26, 2025 at 10:30 a.m., with memorial service at 11:00 a.m. The graveside service with United States Air Force Military Honors and interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetary Road Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL.
