Gregory Lynn Brooks, age 77, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025, in Grove, Oklahoma. He was born on March 28, 1948, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Wayne and Pauline (Burnett) Brooks.
Gregory devoted much of his life to his work with the United States Postal Service, where he was known as a dependable and familiar presence in the community. Through his career and beyond, he exemplified dedication, consistency, and quiet pride in a job well done.
Above all else, Gregory cherished his family. He valued time spent together and found joy in both laughter-filled moments and quiet, meaningful conversations. Those closest to him will remember his steady presence, thoughtful nature, and the care he showed in the simple, everyday moments that mattered most.
Gregory found peace and fulfillment outdoors, particularly at Grand Lake, where fishing and hunting were more than hobbies, they were cherished traditions that connected him deeply to nature and the Oklahoma landscape he loved. He also had a keen interest in computers and technology, always curious and eager to learn, adapting with enthusiasm to a changing world.
Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Pauline Brooks. He is survived by his daughter, Holly Beaty; his grandchildren, Jordan and Jadon Hall; and his great-grandchildren, Grace, Maximus, and Gabriella Goforth. His legacy of love, dedication, and quiet strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
