Gregory Carnathan, 42, residing in Rockland, Massachusetts passed away on November 25th in California. Greg graduated from Rockland High School in 2001. Greg was on the Rockland High School track team.
Greg joined the Army after graduation and did three tours of duty in Iraqi Freedom. He was awarded the Iraq Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and Global War and Terrorism Service Medal.
Greg enjoyed life to the fullest and his smile brought joy into the lives of everyone he knew.
Greg is survived by his two sons, Dillon of East Bridgewater and Logan of Rockland. His parents Mark and Carole Ann (Oriola) of Rockland, his brothers Phil of Florida, and Sean of Rockland, his sisters-in-law, Amber of Texas and Hannah of Rockland and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Greg was predeceased by his brother Brett of Texas.
The family welcomes friends and loved one to celebrate Greg's life at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union Street, Rockland on Saturday January 4th 2025, from 2-6pm. A private burial will be held in April.
