Gregory Carver Obituary
Dolan Gregory Carver, 46, of Fruitland passed away Tuesday morning at his residence after a sudden illness. He was born in Clinch County and lived in Fruitland most of his life. Gregory always loved bogging, fishing, hunting and especially collecting and hydro dipping guns. He was of the Church of God faith.
He was preceded in death by a niece, Christin Lein.
Survivors include his dog that he treated as a child, Jax; his mother and father, Dolan and Kathy Manac Carver of Fruitland; two sisters, Melissa Crump of Valdosta and Valerie Walters (Craig) of Naylor; two brothers, Jeffrey Carver of Fruitland and Dolan Carver, Jr. of Statenville; nieces and nephews, Michael Crump, Jr. of Valdosta, Ethan Crump of Valdosta, Charity Crump of Valdosta, Kenny Lein of Fruitland, Victoria Prophitt of Fruitland, and Blaine Carver of Statenville; and many close friends.
A funeral service will be held Saturday morning, August 26, 2023, at 11 am at Wayfare Church. Burial will follow in Wayfare Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening beginning at 6 pm at Fruitland Church of God in Fruitland.
