Gregory E. Chomko Jr.

Gregory E. Chomko, Jr., passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Joely (Clifford) Chomko for 27 years. Born in New Britain, son of the late Gregory and Darlene (Wagner) Chomko, he was a lifelong Newington resident. He was the owner and operator of Hartford Metal Solutions. Greg enjoyed boating, golfing, vacationing in Florida and watching his son's football games. Above all, he loved his family and his greatest accomplishment and fulfillment was in being a father to his children, of whom he was so proud. Along with his wife, he leaves his three children, Jack, Olivia and Nick Chomko, all of Newington. In addition, he is survived by his brother, Robert Chomko of Newington and his nephew, Xavier of Wethersfield. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, October 16th, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington. At the request of Greg and his family, please wear brighter colors to celebrate Greg's life.
