Greg Clark, 57, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at UT Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer, with his wife and son by his side. He was baptized at a young age at Kingswood Home for Children and later rededicated his life and was baptized again in Bent Creek near his home in Russellville. Greg could do anything and everything, but his career was in plumbing for 36 years.
Greg loved life. He lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed so many things fishing, hunting, water, birds, seafood; he loved the outdoors and felt especially peaceful and connected to nature. His sense of humor will always be unmatched. He was a relentless practical joker. He loved to playfully aggravate people, and he was certainly good at it. Greg worked hard for everything he had, and he never took any of it for granted. He expected a lot from himself, and he built a life to be thankful for and proud of. Despite so many challenges early in his life, he overcome it all. His brother, Jim, described him as a survivor and that he was.
In spite of his early circumstances, he was kind, generous, encouraging, giving, funny, honest, loyal, hardworking, tell-it-like it is man. Someone to be admired. If he loved you, you didn't need to wonder he showed it, consistently.
Greg was one of a kind and he will be greatly missed. A day will not go by that he is not thought of. He was ready to go, to see Jesus, and because of that, we are assured to see him again and anxiously await that day.
Greg is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Hairr and father, Tobias Giacomini.
He is survived by the love of his life, Teresa Clark; his son, Dusty Clark; brothers, Don (Cathy) Kennedy, Jim Clark, and Chris Giacomini; his mother in law and Father in law, Scott and Brenda Lasley; his very, very, very special sister in law, Sherry Johnson; special nephews, Jimmy Kyle (Whitney) Clark, Seth Clark, Tom (Karen) Nunes, Nick Giacomini, and Adam Giacomini; special nieces, Hannah (Zach) Miser and Melissa Giacomini; and many cousins, great nephews and nieces.
A special thank you to Melissa Young, John and Shannon Cross, David and Kathy Noe, Keith and Sharon Ivy, and Chad and Laura Mullins for going above and beyond to shower Greg and Teresa with love.
Thank you to Amedisys Hospice, UT Cancer Center, UT Palliative Care and NorthEast Georgia Medical Center.

It has been nearly 40 years since we last spoke, and though much time has passed, the memories of our youth and the moments we spent together are etched in my heart. You were my first love, and the impact you had on my life is immeasurable. Your spirit and passion were infectious, and even today the music of ac/dc brings back fond memories of our time together. Their songs, which I still hold dear, remind me of the joy we shared. Your passing has left a profound void in my heart. Rest in peace till we meet again
