Gregory Martin Clark, age 72, of Alma, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025, at his home. He was born April 1, 1953, in Gladwin, the son of Gerald and Shirley (Arnold) Clark. He was a 1971 graduate of Alma High School and attended Ferris State College. Greg married Laura Johnston on April 26, 1975, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alma.
Greg retired from Anchor Danly in 2018, after 30 years of service as the customer service manager. He also worked for a short time for Oil Well Supply Company in parts delivery in the Mt. Pleasant area. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Alma, and was instrumental in re-opening St. Mary's School.
Greg enjoyed golfing, playing guitar, and attending concerts. He especially loved spending time with his family and enjoyed summer trips to Caseville and spending time on Lake Huron. He spent many years coaching youth football and basketball and loved attending his grandsons' sporting events.
Greg is survived by his wife of 50 years, Laura; children Katie (Brad) Frank, Tom (Ashlee) Clark, Joe Clark; grandsons Miles, Jensen, Baylor, Madsy; and many loving brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Darlene Wright.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th at 11 am at Nativity of the Lord Parish, St. Louis. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 5 to 7 pm at Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Alma. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's School, Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund or the American Red Cross.
