Gregory DeLine Obituary

Gregory Allen DeLine was born November 22, 1950 in Joliet, Illinois to Robert and Shirley (Mather)
DeLine. His family moved often when he was growing up and his senior high years were spent at Lino
Lakes High School. On June 20, 1987 he married Carol Long at Cambridge Lutheran Church. They
made their home and raised their children, Millie and Logan, in Cambridge. He enjoyed fishing,
working on handyman projects and cars, watching movies on the computer, and playing cards.
Greg passed away April 10, 2025 at United Hospital in St. Paul at the age of 74 years, 4 months and 19
days. He loved the Lord and is dancing in heaven. Greg was preceded in death by his parents.
Greg will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Carol; children, Millie (Josh) Pottsmith and Logan
(Taylor) DeLine; brother, Lewis (Sandra) Coffey; and by many other relatives and friends.

Dear Carol,
Denny and I are sorry to hear of Greg's death. We just today heard from Jim Branberg that he went to be with Jesus.
We have such good memories of the small group we were all in.
We are sorry we haven't kept in closer contact. Life gets so hard.
Denny is pretty much house bound, using a walker in the house. He does get out but it is very difficult for him.
The next step for us is a townhome or rental of something easier for us to care for.
Our health needs sure have increased. I had heart surgery in 08 and Denny had a heart attack on March 20th, but has recovered fairly well.
Won't it be wonderful to see Greg when we all get to glory.
