Gregory Joseph Donahoe, age 50, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on November 25, 1975, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and lived a life marked by warmth, humor, and an unmistakable personality that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

As a child, Greg was curious, creative, and always true to himself. One favorite family memory tells of a time when he was asked to put his toys away so the lawn could be mowed. Instead of organizing them neatly, Greg piled everything into a small backyard swimming pool, creating what looked like a miniature junkyard mountain. He was perfectly content with the result-and those who knew him would say that spirit stayed with him throughout his life.

Greg grew up in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from Lake Highlands High School, where he was a dedicated wrestler who earned numerous awards.

Greg later moved to Arkansas with a close wrestling friend. After his friend's untimely passing, Greg experienced a difficult period in his life but eventually found renewed purpose and happiness when he met Ashley and her family. Ashley became the love of his life, and her grandchildren adored him so deeply that they affectionately called him "Pappy". Known for his gift of conversation and genuine interest in others, Greg was gregarious, joyful, and quick to make friends. His natural ability to connect with people led him into a career in sales, followed by work as a computer consultant. Prior to his disability, Greg worked as a fraud investigator for Bank of America, where he excelled in his role. Above all else, Greg will be remembered for his laughter, his stories, and the way he made people feel welcome. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

He is survived by his spouse, Ashley Rollins; his parents, Michael A. Donahoe and Kathryn A. (Hoerres) Donahoe of Rowlett, Texas; his brother, Michael P. Donahoe and spouse Janice Brown of Dallas, Texas; and extended family members who loved him dearly.
